Fondsfinans Kapitalforvaltning AS takes privacy seriously and works continuously to ensure that your personal information is safeguarded in accordance with applicable privacy laws. We treat all data confidentially and have a duty of confidentiality for information you choose to share with us.
Fondsfinans Kapitalforvaltning AS, at the CEO, is responsible for the company’s personal data processing.
What is personal information?
Any information that can be linked to you as an individual, directly or indirectly, can be characterized as personal information.
This can be name, birth number, email, IP address and the like.
We will mainly collect personal information from you directly, but will in some cases collect information from public registers (such as the National Register). We only collect personal information when necessary to perform specific actions, and we will not use personal information for purposes other than what is accepted by you (as the owner of your personal information) or where there is a legal basis.
Entering into customer relations
When you become a client of Fondsfinans Kapitalforvaltning we collect some information so that you can trade in our funds and that we have the opportunity to contact you. This includes information such as name, address, bank account number, identification and telephone number.
The information is either collected by filling in information on VPS’s website or by submitting it to us on a form. By registering a new customer relationship online, we will be able to obtain information from the National Register to simplify the process.
This information will be stored in VPS at the same time as your personal data is imported into our customer register from Advent. A separate data processor agreement between Fondsfinans Kapitalforvaltning AS and VPS regulates how the information is handled. If you send us a form, we will also save the original in a digital register.
We will comply with statutory requirements for the retention of personal information and delete this information when there is no legal basis. We will delete information about inactive customer relationships with no activity for the last 5 years (deleted on a yearly basis).
If you sign up for our email list on our website yourself, or enter email when entering into a new customer relationship, we will add your address to our mailing system from Mailchimp. In addition to monthly market reports, our customers receive information on market developments in other formats, e.g. annual reports, quarterly reports and seminar invitations. We consider this a natural part of having a client relationship with a fund manager. You can unsubscribe from the market report email list at any time by clicking «unsubscribe» at the bottom of the email.
Registration for seminars and contact forms
On our website you can submit contact forms and sign up for our seminars.
The information you choose to fill in will only be used to answer your inquiry or register on the participant list for a seminar. Participant lists and contact requests are deleted after 365 days.
Application for a position
We treat all applications confidentially and have a duty of confidentiality regarding information you choose to share with us. Only those involved in the recruitment process will have access to your application. Upon completion of the process, we will delete all received applications.
Creating a bank account associated with the Share Savings Account
If you wish to create a bank account linked to your share savings account, you enter into an online banking agreement with Danske Bank, and the processing of the information you provide is governed by their privacy statement. The processing of personal data between Danske Bank and Fondsfinans Kapitalforvaltning is regulated in a separate data processing agreement.
Your rights
As a private individual, you have the following rights in regards to your personal information. If you wish to exercise any of your rights, please contact fondsinvestor@fondsfinans.no .
